The Smurfs Live on Stage - Smurfs Save Spring!

Both DinoBoy and myself love the Smurfs, however we have different memories of these cute little blue fellows.

While DinoBoy knows them from the movie The Smurfs, the Mcdonald's Happy Meal Toys and a few books he could lay his hands on in the school, he probably does not know all about the smurfs or as much as I do (though he will pretend that he really knows MORE than me lol)

Smurfs was one of the many cartoons that I will watch when I was a little girl, it does not matter if the plot is almost the same every week, I just love to see this blue little creatures running around going through their daily responsibilities in the Smurf Village and collecting smurfberries while evading and outsmarting the evil wizard Gargamel and his cat Azrael.

Well, imagine our happiness when we got to know that the Smurfs are coming to Singapore for a live show, for the first time too!

Following the successful World Premiere in Dubai on 16 January 2015, THE SMURFS LIVE ON STAGE – SMURFS SAVE SPRING will be staged in Singapore from 12 to 14 June 2015 over the school holidays.

Eight favourite SMURFS, including Papa Smurf, Clumsy, Brainy and the adorable Smurfette are coming to Singapore for the first time ever, bringing a warm, colourful and fragrant Spring here! The evil wizard Gargamel and a team of puppeteers will accompany the tiny blue creatures in this ‘Smurftastic’ journey.

The story is set in Spring – Smurfs’ favourite time of the year and they are busily preparing for the much-awaited Annual Spring Parade. But while the Smurfs make merry and sing and dance with excitement, the wicked Gargamel conjures up a plan to trick Mother Nature and bring an end to the fun and festivities. SMURFS SAVE SPRING is a magical tale that will see the Smurfs battle Gargamel and save Mother Nature, whilst promoting family values and the power of a true team spirit.

Little fans can get ready to cheer the SMURFS as they come to life on a grand stage, with life-size Smurf mushroom-shaped forest houses, vibrant backdrops and wonderful sing-along songs. La La La La La La…don’t miss THE SMURFS LIVE ON STAGE in their 90-minute show!

Admission Rules:

▸ Children under 2 years of age may be admitted free of charge provided they do not occupy a seat (they must be seated on the lap of a parent/guardian).

▸ Children 2 years and above must purchase a ticket for entry.

▸ All children below 12 years of age must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

▸ Admission is subject to tickets produced at the entrance.

▸ No Flash Photography, Video recording and Audio recording is permitted for this event.

Usually for musical shows and performance we would receive complimentary tickets from sponsor to host a giveaway but we thought since the Smurfs are a hit with the adults too, I should do this giveaway for the big kids instead.  I have 2 collectible limited edition Smurf figurine, as shown in the photo below, that is not available in Singapore for this giveaway. It is approximately 20cm in height, just like an actual Smurf~
