Starting Primary One #12 - The School Work

School's been going for a month, I am sure those who are following my Starting Primary One series are anxious to know what is going on in the class room, especially the dreaded school work.

Besides the work from the workbooks, these are the worksheets the teacher gave to the students.  Notice that there is no Chinese worksheets?  Not sure if it is not necessary or its not given back to the student yet, however I have signed DinoBoy's Chinese workbook for the work he did.  Anyway, here are the worksheets, please bear in mind that these are for your info only, not for any comparisons or anything.

Maths Review

Not sure if the teacher tell the students that "there will be a Maths Test on XXX day" as DinoBoy did not tell me anything about it.  Perhaps he still does not know the meaning of TEST even IF the teacher did say that.  Anyway, we are not fretting over it though he scored 7 out of 10, we think he is doing ok plus the teacher told me that "he is one of my brightest boy in class."  I truly hope and want him to stay this way, I wish with all my heart that he does not takes after this hopelessly Maths-idiot Mum hahaha~

For the next few weeks I will be sharing our experience on our preparation for DinoBoy's Primary One.  I hope it will serve as a useful guide to parents when its their time to get their child ready for the new journey and have an idea how Parent Volunteer works.

  1. Your boy understood the questions well. Some of them are pretty tricky. :P I guess his command of English must be quite good.
